Merry Christmas

I hope everyone had a great Christmas. I sure did. In an earlier post, I wrote about my Christmas wish list, well I got 2 of those things and of course quite a few things I never even knew existed but I am quite excited about. I got a digital camera so now I can take pictures of my own for this blog. I also got Sim City Societies which I haven't played yet, but I'm going to soon. I got the Deal or No Deal Electronic Banker Game. Deal or No Deal is one of my favorite game shows only behind 1 vs 100 so I was pretty excited when I got this game and I most certainly can't wait to play it. For Christmas dinner, I had penne pasta with Parmesan cheese (my family's Italian so I eat it a lot), stuffing, corn, rolls, apple pie, and of course eggnog. If you're wondering why I didn't have any meat, its because I'm a vegetarian. While I didn't get any Survivor buffs, I have enough money to buy them especially after opening a card with $50 in it. I can also buy the Wikinomics book with my $50 Barnes & Noble gift card. So all and I had an incredible Christmas.

The Amazing Race 12

On Sunday's episode of The Amazing Race 12, the teams took a ferry to Ancona, Italy and drove to Empoli, Italy where they had to choose between the roadblock or a Fast Forward. Nicolas/Donald were the only team that tried for the Fast Forward which involved getting a tattoo (yes I'm being serious). Ok, a permanent tattoo but still its the easiest Fast Forward in the history of The Amazing Race. You could probably also get it removed for less than $1,000,000. In fact, the roadblock looked at least 5 times as hard as the Fast Forward. They should of just switched the roadblock and Fast Forward. The roadblock involved getting into a plane to find their next clue which was somewhere in a huge field. The clue was by the river and told the teams to go to Vinci, Italy which was the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. With Nicolas/Donald completing the Fast Forward they easily arrived in first place while TK/Rachel had lost a lot of time trying to find the clue. I'm not sure where TK's common sense is where it comes to these tasks as for if if I saw team after team leaving the field after flying over the river, I would of easily figured out its by the river. At the detour, the teams had to choose between solving a puzzle related to one of Leonardo da Vinci's inventions or performing a traditional flag ceremony. I would of picked the flag ceremony hands down because I could do that in 5 minutes, but it might take me 5 hours to figure out the Da Vinci puzzle. Knyt/Vysxin kept arguing about who should be drive and they fell to last place at the Boboli Gardens pit stop in Florence, Italy. Unfortunately, the producers planned this leg out to be a non-elimination leg and that mean the Goths who annoy me by trying to be Gothic hippies will continue to do so next week. I call them Gothic hippies because I think they're trying unsuccessfully to imitate BJ/Tyler from Season 9 which was my favorite team in the history of The Amazing Race. They do have a penalty for coming in last place, but it changed again. Instead of the 30 minute time penalty (unless a team comes in 1st in the next leg), they get speed bumped which means they'll have to complete a special non-elimination task that obviously only they will have to do.

Christmas Tree Poem

My Christmas Spirit gets bigger and bigger with each day that gets closer to Christmas on December 25, 2007. Now that its only 3 days away, I've written a poem about Christmas Trees that I'm going to to say before I open my presents on Christmas Day. If you like my poem feel free to use it for your Christmas celebrations as well.

Sole Survivor

Survivor China

On Sunday's season finale of Survivor China, the castaways competed for pizza, soda, and beer. In order to win this reward, the castaways had to build a miniature version of the Great Wall which involved building and crossing a bridge, digging for wall (puzzle) pieces, climbing a tower, and assembling the pieces correctly. Amanda Kimmel's puzzle solving skills won her the pizza, soda, and beer which she shared with Todd Herzog. That move alone changed my views of Amanda from smart to genius. Amanda Kimmel gets yet another chance to come up with more cunning ideas and get Todd to carry them out for her. Additonally, in most of the immunity challenges Amanda Kimmel has performed better than Todd Herzog which would give her the biggest advantage assuming Amanda Kimmel and Todd Herzog ate the same portions. I would of loved to win that reward because pizza is my favorite food and soda is my favorite drink. I wouldn't have any beer because I'm only 16 and even if I was 21 I still wouldn't drink it because I'm strongly against alcohol. The final immunity challenge required the castaways to balance delicate Chinese dinnerware on a disk. If any piece dropped, the castaway who was holding it was out of the challenge. Amanda Kimmel's clever strategy to put the dinnerware upside down making the dinnerware sturdier won her immunity and a guaranteed spot in the final 3. Before the final immunity challenge was revealed I was hoping they would be hanging from the Great Wall.
That would of been an awesome challenge to watch. At tribal council, Denise Martin was easily voted out 3:1. The final 3 which consisted of Amanda Kimmel, Courtney Yates, and Todd Herzog went back to camp for the last time to have a Day 39 feast and tore down the Hae Da Fung Camp. At their final tribal council, the jury voted for Todd Herzog to become Sole Survivor and win the $1,000,000 grand prize 4:2:1 with Amanda Kimmel receiving only 1 vote from the jury. What a shame that was, Amanda Kimmel who clearly played a smarter game didn't win the title of sole survivor because the jury didn't know everything that actually went on between Amanda Kimmel and Todd Herzog. I'm almost certain that if the jury voted live (the votes are already read live to prevent spoilers) that Amanda Kimmel would of won hands down. Despite of the finale disappointment, Survivor China was still an incredible season.

Christmas List

I am very excited about Christmas which is my favorite holiday on December 25, 2007. After all its only 9 days away. In the order of how badly I want these things (I want them all very badly however) My Christmas list includes:

1) Digital Camera - all the pictures you see on this blog currently come from the internet and it can be a very tedious and long task to see if they're ok to use here

2) Survivor Buffs - what a perfect way to show some tribal spirit for my favorite tribes

3) Sim City Societies - I really enjoy playing the Sim City series and each game keeps getting more addictive, while I also enjoy playing The Sims series, I have all the expansion packs for both The Sims 1 & 2 including The Sims 2 Bon Voyage

4) Wikinomics - a book about how wikis like Wikipedia (an incredible site you should most certainly check out if you haven't already) and other forms of mass collaboration are affecting not just how we get information but also the world economy, definitely sounds like an interesting read to me

Regardless of what I get, I can't wait for Christmas just so I can be with my family.

The Amazing Race 12

On last Sunday's episode of The Amazing Race 12, the teams went to Dubrovnik, Croatia. At the airport Jennifer melted down when she couldn't get on the 1st flight which turned out to be delayed while Azaria/Hendeka mistakenly purchased business class tickets for their flight to Croatia which are prohibited by The Amazing Race. Teams can only use business class tickets if the airline upgrades them to it at the exact same price that economy class would of cost (teams must always pay economy price for airline tickets). At the roadblock, the teams had to find 1 of 8 bricks that would fit into Dubrovnik's walls out of 150 bricks. The roadblock was so easy that all the teams moved fairly quickly with it. The teams then had to zip line across the city's coast before they could receive their next clue. At the detour, teams had to choose between a combination of short physical exercise (rope climbing up the wall's tower) and navigating Dubrovnik's streets for a relatively long distance to find their next clue, or a combination of long physical exercise (rowing a boat along the Dubrovnik's city walls until they reached the harbor and navigating Dubrovnik's streets for a relatively short distance to find their next clue. The teams than had to travel to Stone Cross which was the pit stop for this leg of The Amazing Race. Ronald/Christina's incredible teamwork got them to 1st place. Jennifer/Nathan couldn't find a taxi and took an ordinary driver to the pit stop which only made them go back and find a taxi to take them back to Stone Cross and fell from 2nd to 3rd place. Azaria/Hendeka's airport dilemma got them eliminated from The Amazing Race.

Survivor China

Another 2 episodes of Survivor China have gone by. On the episode that aired on December 6, 2007, the castaways competed with a loved one for a chance to go on a boat trip and be able to talk to their families back home on a Sprint cell phone. The challenge required that the blindfolded castaways and loved ones find each other and then reach the center of the maze still blindfolded together. Denise and her husband won the reward and Denise decided to take Todd and Amanda along with her on the boat trip. On the boat trip, the castaways ate comfort food and Denise got her phone call from home. Back at camp, some castaways were thinking that Todd made up his sister's miscarriage so he could gain sympathy to win the reward challenge. I don't think Todd is the next Johnny Dalton (from Survivor Pearl Islands). After all, his sister was the one who mentioned the miscarriage while Johnny Dalton was the one who mentioned his grandmother's death who is still alive as of today. The immunity challenge required the castaways to run through a swamp and up a mountain which had 2 boxes with statements about Chinese history. Obviously, one of them was true and the other was false. The castaways had to use a key to try to unlock a third box which had 2 different keyholes (1 for each possible answer), if they got it right they could move on to the next set of trivia boxes through another swamp and mountain. If they got it wrong, they had to go back down the mountain and through the swamp again and then return to the mountaintop to open the box with the correct keyhole. The 1st castaway to successfully open all 3 locked boxes with their keys would win immunity. At the end of this grueling challenge, Peih - Gee won immunity assuring her an extra week in China so she could continue to beg the other castaways to keep her (which can get very annoying). At tribal council, Erik was was obviously voted out 4:2 because he was the only Zhan Hu member without immunity.

On Thursday's episode of Survivor China, the castaways competed for a trip to the Great Wall of China. The challenge required the castaways to shoot an arrow onto a checkerboard with each square having a castaway's name on it (each castaway had 5 squares). Each time an arrow landed on a square the castaway whose name was on that square would gain 1 point regardless of who shot the arrow. Each castaway received 4 arrows which they had to give to another castaway. Peih - Gee received 1 arrow, Todd received 2 arrows, Amanda also received 2 arrows, Denise received 3 arrows, and Courtney received 12 arrows. Denise won the reward challenge thanks to Courtney and took Courtney and Todd along with her to see the Great Wall of China. I would really like to see the Great Wall of China in person one day. The immunity challenge was a combination of previous challenges. The challenges that were partially repeated in this episode were the dartboard challenge from episode 10, the delicacy challenge from episode 6, the ball drumming challenge from episode 9, and finally the disk chopping and puzzle challenge from episode 3. Amanda won the marathon of previous challenges and won herself immunity. At tribal council, Peih - Gee was finally voted out 4:1.

Don't forget the 3 hour season finale of Survivor China airs today at 8:00 PM on CBS. I'll be rooting for Amanda to win Survivor China's $1,000,000 prize because she's the smartest player this season. She came up with a successful plan to blindsight James who had both of the 2 hidden immunity idols at the 10th tribal council. She stuck to her alliance with Todd and Courtney, but she wasn't afraid to sway from it if something that would advance her further came along (although that never happened). Fianlly, she defeated Peih - Gee in the most recent immunity challenge which in turn sent Peih - Gee to the jury.

Monopoly

My favorite board game to play with my friends is Monopoly. In case you never played, the goal is to bankrupt your opponents. The rules are in every Monopoly box. Though honestly, my friends and I don't play exactly by the rules as for we have a $500 Free Parking Jackpot, and we let ourselves collect $400 when we land directly on Go (just passing we get the normal $200). A few good strategies I like to use are; always build up to hotel level on the jail properties which consist of the pink and orange groups, as well as the cheap properties which consist of the purple and light blue property groups. Additionally, never build on the dark blue properties they cost a lot of money to build on and they never pay off. Honestly, I don't really buy those dark blue properties in the first place unless I can get them at auction for a considerably cheaper price. Finally, the red, yellow, and green properties in most cases should get 3 houses, unless you don't own a jail monopoly or a cheap monopoly then you want a hotel on those properties. Regarding Jail, always roll for doubles to get out of jail unless you obviously have the Get Out of Jail free card or if you could complete a jail monopoly if you paid the $50. So, what are you waiting for? Enjoy some good old Monopoly!

Tribal Council

Survivor China

Thursday's episode of Survivor China started at tribal council as Jeff Probst told the castaways to they had more business to attend to at tribal council so they didn't go back to camp. At first, I thought they would be voting another person off (similar to Survivor Cook Islands where Rarotonga voted off Rebecca and then Jenny at the same tribal council due to a bottled message). It actually turned out to be a reward challenge which was a big relief because Peih - Gee still had immunity and I hate Peih - Gee because she's very annoying when it comes to basically everything. Additionally, she kept Jean - Robert in the game who was so lazy for a few extra weeks (he was finally voted off on the November 8, 2007 episode). The castaways then had to answer trivia questions about Chinese culture for a trip to the Shaolin Temple. I really liked the questions especially the last one about the red envelope. I would of thought it would be a death notice as for red reminds of blood, but it was shockingly a gift of cash. Honestly, when I associate the color red with a financial term its usually debt. Cash reminds of a different color, green. Though yet again, I have no idea what Chinese money looks like and it very well may be red. Oh yeah, Peih - Gee won the reward and selected Erik and Denise to go to the Shaolin Temple with her. At the immunity challenge with involved throwing pointed stars at targets, Peih Gee got 0 points and to make things even sweeter Erik (the only other remaining Zhan Hu member) won immunity. At tribal council, James decided to not use one of his 2 immunity idols and he was voted off by a 5:1:1 vote. By the way if he did use an idol, it would of been a tie between Todd and Peih - Gee. Even though I hate Peih - Gee, I'm actually happy James was voted off as he could of easily detected Amanda's plan to blindsight him if he was more alert which is something you should always be when playing Survivor.

Big Brother 8

Well first of all I'm sorry that this came almost 3 months after the Big Brother 8 finale aired on September 18, 2007, but I'm regaining interest in my blog now and hopefully this won't happen again. Basically, Big Brother 8 started at the jury house with the jurors discussing which Donato should win the $500,000 grand prize. Honestly as I already said, I couldn't care less which Donato won Big Brother 8 because they're both morons. I watched the finale for 4 main reasons, 1) my reality TV addiction, 2) the Chenbot, 3) the jury's thoughts on how bad the Donatos were,. and 4) Jessica's reaction to her boyfriend turning out to be America's Player. In the end, Dick Donato beat his daughter Daniele to win Big Brother 8 and the $500,000 grand prize by a 5:2 vote. Jameka and Jen voted for Daniele, while the rest of the jury voted for Dick.

Wawa

I absolutely love Wawa's garden salads. I never actually have the time to pack my own lunch to school each day nor do I really care to make the time, so I have to either buy it from school or buy it from my local Wawa which happens to be the closest convenience store to my house. Except for when I can buy pizza at school, the answer usually happens to be a Wawa Garden Salad. It comes packed with fresh lettuce, carrots, and tomatoes. I also prefer to add croûtons, Caesar dressing, and cheddar cheese. I also buy a Wawa raspberry iced tea to drink with my salad. While it costs $4.57 which is more expensive than the $3 I would pay for a school lunch. Its definitely better than waiting at lunch when you're hungry and the salad is exceptionally delicious, not to mention easy to make.

Big Brother 8

Wow what another incredible 3 weeks of Big Brother 8! In the week after Jen was evicted, the house guests had to compete in a "Jen Says" trivia competition to win the position of Head of Household. As you probably guessed, all of the questions were about statements made by the queen of annoying Jen before her long awaited eviction. Jessica won the Head of Household competition and put Zach and Amber on the block. How devastating, now as boring as Zach is, I love Amber. At the luxury competition, the house guests could win the opportunity to go shopping for clothes for 2 minutes in the house. To earn the 2 minute shopping spree, the house guests had to strip down and get naked and solve a puzzle that involved 3 important words in the Big Brother house. I don't think I would undress for an hour or however long that competition took for 2 minutes of shopping. At the Power of Veto competition which involved finding clues about previously evicted house guests and giving them to a cat, Eric proved triumphant and won the golden power of veto. At the veto ceremony, he decided to sadly keep the nominations the same. On eviction night, Amber was evicted by a tragic 3:1 vote. I then started to root for Jessica as I love the Jessica/Eric romance though I would prefer Jessica to win as for Eric already won some money with his America's Player assignments.

Next week was a double eviction week. Zach became the week's first Head of Household in a tea carrying competition that took 8 long slippery hours. I had to love how they put corn oil along the paths to the tea kettles and how Daniele thought it was butter. Unfortunetly, Zach put Jessica and Jameka on the chopping block. At the first Power of Veto competition, my favorite house guest from Big Brother 6, Janelle Pierzina returned to the Big Brother house to host the competition which involved figuring out what as many house guest swirl puzzles (2 house guest swirled into 1 picture) in 3 minutes. Danielle won the twisty veto and at the veto ceremony, she decided to keep the nominations the same. At the first eviction of the night, the heartbreaking continued with Jessica's 2:1 eviction. At the second Head of Household competition which tested the house guests timing of events that took place in the Big Brother house, Dick won Head of Household and put Eric and Jameka on the chopping block. In the third consecutive heart breaker, Eric was evicted by an upsetting 2:0 vote. Then I started to root for Jameka as she was the only good house guest remaining in the Big Brother house.

In the most recent week of Big Brother, the house guests competed in a Head of Household competition which involved remembering things from pictures of past competitions of various types that were temporarily posted on the memory wall in place of the house guests' faces. Zach won the title of Head of Household and put the 2 house guests I hate the most, Dick and Daniele on the chopping block. Its about time Zach made an outgoing move in this game. At the final Power of Veto competition, house guests had to match each of the previously evicted house guests to different events that happened this summer in the Big Brother house. Daniele won the final power of veto and decided to shockingly give the veto to Dick putting herself and Jameka at risk of being evicted. Dick decided to give his daughter a break and in the fourth consecutive eviction tragedy, he evicted Jameka. Then I started to root for Zach, as at least his game play is improving and I absolutely hate Dick and Daniele. At the first part of the final Head of Household competition, Zach won the first part which was an endurance competition which involved jumping over a rotating rabbit in the pouring rain while having to hold on to the key. Zach held on the longest giving him a guaranteed spot in the third part of the competition. The second part of this final Head of Household competition, involved going into tanks to connect the order of the Head of Households as fast as possible. Dick won this competition which gave him the right to compete against Zach in the final part of the Head of Household competition. That competition asked 6 questions about the jurors with each correct answer being worth 1 point. Dick became the final Head of Household by a final score of 4:3. Dick decided to evict Zach which resulted in the worst final 2 in the history Big Brother Dick and Daniele Donato. I'll be rooting for Daniele she's the lesser of 2 evils. The season finale of Big Brother 8 airs at 9:00 PM Eastern Time on CBS.

Pirate Master

On the online season finale of Pirate Master which aired on CBS Innertube on August 28, 2007, the pirates faced 2 exceptionally tough and important expeditions. In the semifinal expedition it was every pirate for themselves in a battle for a guaranteed spot in the final 2 and the opportunity to hunt for Captain Henry Steele's $500,000 fortune. Ben and Jay were definitely stronger and smarter competitors than normal while Christa was rather weak in the finale. Jay sabotaged Christa at the bridge by cutting it down with a sword. That obviously forced her to take the longer route through the jungle rather than over it across the bridge. By the time Jay cut down the bridge Ben also made it across so Jay's sabotage didn't affect him. Ben eventually passed Jay and found the treasure worth $50,000 under a waterfall. He then decided to split the $50,000 evenly between himself, and the other 2 remaining pirates. Why did he do that when he could of kept it all for himself and still have the same exact chance at winning the $500,000 Chest of Zanzibar. At pirate's court the ghosts which consisted of the 13 pirates who were previously cut adrift cast their ballots on who they wanted to be cut adrift. Jay was cut adrift by a 12:1 ballot.

Ben and Christa then picked 3 ghosts each to help them win the Chest of Zanzibar. Ben's choices were Cheryl, Azmyth, and Nessa. Christa's choices were John, Jay, and Nessa. As you can see, both pirates wanted Nessa on their crew so this dilemma was solved by Nessa herself deciding what crew she would like to be on. She decided to be a member of Christa's Crew. I found it very interesting that both of the final 2 pirates wanted Nessa who was one of the weakest pirates in the competition (though I think Christian was weaker). Though I most certainly agree with Ben's choice of Azmyth as he was most likely the strongest pirate in the game and most certainly deserved a spot in the final 2. In their final expedition, Ben Fagan and Christa DeAngelo had to find one of the keys to the Chest of Zanzibar on their grueling expedition. Then they had to open a puzzle box with it and solve a puzzle to find out that 1688 was the correct combination to unlock the silver key and the Chest of Zanzibar worth $500,000 which was won by Ben Fagan. Congratulations Ben, although I was rooting for Christa to win in the beginning of the finale she weakened enough that I think you deserved it far more. In other news, Cheryl must of died somehow as there was a message at the end of the episode that was in her memory. :( I heard nothing about Cheryl's death until this message on the finale and it most certainly made me cry. I just feel so bad for Cheryl. I have no clue about how she died so if anyone knows can they please tell me in the comments? Thanks. Well sadly this was my last Pirate Master recap as the show was canceled by CBS already so there obviously won't be a second season.

Big Brother 8

Another 2 weeks of Big Brother flew by. Jessica nominated Dick and Danielle for eviction. At the veto competition which involved house guests drinking disgusting shots for croquet shots. I don't they used real blood in the Bloodtini as for it would be illegal in any country in the world and is probably also against United Nations regulations. The house guest who got the most points in a standard game of croquet. Dick won the competition with 33 points. At the veto ceremony, he took Danielle off the chopping block when he himself was in danger of being evicted. On eviction night however, it was Dustin who was evicted by a 4:2 vote. At the Head of Household competition the house guests had to remember things about the strange guests that just mysteriously entered the Big Brother house. Danielle won the competition and thus became the new Head of Household.

At the nominations ceremony, Danielle nominated Amber and Jameka for eviction. Darnet, I don't want Amber to be on the chopping block at all because she's my favorite house guest. The food competition was a college style game of beer pong which the Blue Team won by a final score of 10:9. At the veto competition which asked questions about what America though about Big Brother and the house guests. Why wasn't I told about this poll? I would love to contribute to the history of reality TV. Additionally the veto winner and the runner up would go on a trip to New York City to play the Power of 10. Now I can understand CBS wanting to promote their new game show, but isn't unfair to the other house guests to let Amber (the runner up) and Danielle (the veto winner) compete separately for a prize bigger than the prize for winning Big Brother. The winner of Big Brother receives $500,000 while you can win up to $10,000,000 by playing the Power of 10. CBS, you should of promoted the Power of 10 in a different way. Though yet again, I'll admit that I might very well watch the Power of 10 tomorrow just to see Amber and Danielle on the show. At the veto ceremony, Daniele had a change of heart and replaced her original nomination of Amber with Jen. By the way, I still hate Jen. On eviction night, Jen was evicted by a 6:0 vote. Finally, Jen gets what she deserves eviction, and to make it even sweeter for me it was unaminous. Take that, pathetic Jen!

UPDATE 7:02 PM: I'm so sorry - I got the Red and Blue Teams mixed up so it was actually the Red Team that won the beer pong food competition

Pirate Master

The last 2 online episodes of Pirate Master were very exciting. In episode 12, the pirates had to find treasure in a field of astronomical symbols that represented the 9 planets in our solar system. The treasure was once again found by the mighty Black Crew and Christa remained captain of the Picton Castle. At Pirate's court it was a tie between Laurel and Ben with Captain Christa deciding to cut Laurel adrift. I never really actually understood Laurel so I honestly don't miss her as I did with Azmyth.

In the most recent episode (episode 13), Ben threw the expedition letting the Black Crew easily win it. I can't believe this happened again. Jay was the first pirate to do this stupid move. Ironically, both times were to help Christa stay captain. Even more ironic is that I'm acutally rooting for Christa. Jay had the sole deciding vote on what pirate would get cut adrift and he obviously cut adrift Louie. I also hated Louie because he was just too honest and trusting. You can't be a pirate with either of those qualities yet alone both. Tommorow will be the season finale of Pirate Master which will air at 3:00 AM at CBS's online television service Innertube. As I already said, I'm rooting for Christa to become the Pirate Master and win the Chest of Zanzibar worth $500,000.

Hell's Kitchen 3

On the exciting 2 part season finale of Hell's Kitchen 3 which aired for the last 2 Mondays (August 6, 2007 and August 13, 2007), the final 2 chefs Bonnie Muirhead and Rock Harper faced off to impress Gordon Ramsey one last time in hopes of winning their own restaurant at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hell's Kitchen was split into half for the finale like the previous seasons. Each chef then had to create their own individual menu and redesign their half of Hell's Kitchen. Both tasks were equally important. Rock's design was far more elegant than Bonnie's design. Additionally, Bonnie decided to get rid of all the booths in her restaurants. Bonnie, what is the point of that? If it were a restaurant where people actually paid money to eat, you would be losing a lot of dough. The last time I checked, restaurants are for - profit establishment. The chefs then went to Las Vegas, Nevada to be judged by big time chefs including previous winners Micheal Wray and Heather West. Bonnie won the challenge by a 4:3 vote amongst the judges. Bonnie's dishes were too family and unoriginal. Spaghetti and cheese with a fancy name. Come on Bonnie, this is the finale you gotta think outside of the box. Though Rock's milkshake was far from unique at least his other 2 dishes were superior. Rock's team included Vinnie, Brad, and Josh while Bonnie's team included Jen, Melissa, and Julia. In the end Rock's leadership won him his own restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada when he opened his door successfully. Congratulations, Rock you most certainly deserved it though I think Julia deserved it more.

Head of Household

Big Brother 8

Wow another week of Big Brother 8 just finished. At the Head of Household competition, the house guests hung upside down while birds crapped all over their bodies to make it harder to keep their position. The last house guest to remain hanging upside down would become the Head of Household. Danielle won the hillarious competition covered in wonderfully discusting bird poo. At the nominations ceremony she nominated Kail and Jen for eviction. 3rd time in a row for Jen and Kail. Jen be lucky Big Brother isn't baseball or you would just struck out along with Kail.
At the veto competition, the house guests were challenged to either give up critical things in the game or do something very embarassing to win the power of veto. The lowest bidder for each challenge would be eliminated from the veto competition, but only the highest bidder for the challenge would have to perform the corresponding task. In the case of a tie for the highest bidder, all of the house guests who tied for the highest bid would have to perform the task. Jamkea made some more poor decisions in this veto competition when she first gave up the next 5 Head of Household competitions and then gave up $10,000 in prize money when she didn't even need the power of veto as there wasn't that much of a chance she would be a replacement nominee and get evicted this week, despite what she did in last week's veto competition. She should of put 0 for both of those 2 questions. The Head of Household is a far more important position unless you're in serious danger of being evicted, and why would you give up possible prize money if you don't have a desperate need for the veto this week. Jameka, in order to win Big Brother you have to see every other house guest evicted and win the heart of the jury. Are your so called allies really worth losing $10,000 to you. If one of them gets evicted, you're still in the game and can still convince the other house guests to keep you. Plus if they are your allies they'll most likely give you a vote to win if you make it to the final two. On the other side, your allies might actually betray you and try to get you evicted. In the end however, Jen had to be her obnoxious self and win this competition by giving up a whopping $250,000 of her prize money. While she claimed, she wasn't playing for the $500,000 grand prize I don't believe her statement at all. Knowing Jen, she would of been evicted if she didn't win the veto and thus she would of recieved $0. I think anyone would rather have $250,000 than nothing. Even if I was given the option of having $1 or nothing I would still take the $1. I firmly believe Jen is in the game for the money like every other house guest. She was most likely trying to win sympathy from the other house guests so she would be safe from future evictions. At the veto ceremony, Jen obviously took herself off the block and worse yet Dainele nominated Eric who is America's Player as a replacement nominee. I like Eric mainly becuase I can control him. I usually vote for America's Player's assignments online at CBS's offical Big Brother website because its free while texting on my cell phone would cost me 99 cents.
On eviction night, Kail was evicted by a relieving 4:3 vote against Eric. At the Head of Household Competition, house guests had to face off in a trivia duel. The questions involved the 5 previously evicted house guests (Carol, Joe, Mike, Nick, and Kail). If the first house guest to buzz in gave the correct answer they would move on and the other house guest in the duel would be eliminated from this week's competition, but if they were wrong they would themselves be eliminated saving the other dueler. If no house guest buzzed in within 10 seconds both house guests would be eliminated, unless it was down to 2 already where then obviously niether house guest would get eliminated. In the of this exciting western duel, Jessica became the new Head of Household.

Pirate Master

On Tuesday's online episode of Pirate Master, the pirates had to search the beaches of Dominca for a fake treasure. You've heard right, the pirates were unfairly cheated out of their treasure. Additionaly, Jay shockingly and stupiditly helped the opposing Black Crew so Christa could remain captain. I can't believe that he thinks Christa's captaincy is the most powerful position he can have. He could of became the captain himself. Nevertheless, this episode changed how I view him from being my favorite pirate to being my least favorite. What an idiot. I'm probably be rooting for Christa to win now as she seems to be the smartest and obviously very influential. At Pirate's Court Kendra was cut adrift in yet another unanimous ballot, this time against Louie who voluneteered to be blackmarked. While Kendra defintely deserved to be cut adrift as she was very weak in almost all of the expeidtions. I really am having a hard time of figuring out what idiotic move was dumber, Jay throwing the expedition or Louie volunteering to be blackmarked. Currently, I'm leaning towards Louie's move but I'm just not entierely sure yet.

The Simpsons Movie

Even though, for the most part I only watch reality TV. There are some other shows I like to watch on TV that are not reality, but I usually don't watch every episode of those like I do with my reality shows. For example, I do enjoy The Simpsons on FOX though I enjoy watching reality shows way more. With that said, I decided to watch The Simpsons Movie recently. It was by far the most hilarious movie ever. The plot is that Springfield was polluted by Homer Simpson and as a result the Environmental Protection Agency isolated Springfield from the rest of the world by placing a giant dome over the city. Eventually, the yellow citizens found a way to crack the dome. The EPA responded by threating to kill all residents of Springfield by dropping a nuclear bomb over the city. Then, the Simpson family decided to try to fight the American government. I won't tell you the ending, but I can most certainly tell you that this movie will make you laugh very hard.

Bowling

One of my favorite sports is bowling. So, I was recently at Playdrome which is a bowling alley in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and bowled a rather lousy 73. Well its lousy for me because I usually bowl in the 120s. Then, after I bowled I bought 2 slices of my favorite food, pizza. Then when I tried to insert money into to the vending machine to buy my Snapple Ice Tea, it didn't accept any of my bills. Then I tried to pay the $2 in coins which didn't work either so which meant the vending machine was broken. So I got a Coke instead. It might of saved me 50 cents cheaper but I wanted an ice tea not a soda. Ah well, my next game of bowling is bound to be way better.

Big Brother 8

What another wonderful week of Big Brother. First of all the food competition which involved putting Humpty Dumpty back together was too funny. The house guests split up into pairs of 2. They then had to solve the giant egg puzzle as quickly as possible because the 1st pair to complete the puzzle was guaranteed not to go on slop for the week. Jessica and Jameka won the competition though Stephen (one of my friends) and I are so good at puzzles we would probably easily win that competition if we were in the Big Brother house. Jessica and Jameka also had to then put 5 other house guests on slop. They chose Dick, Jen, Kail, Zach, and Nick to go slop. I'm really starting to like Jessica. I temporarily was a fan of Jameka but she did something that shocked me later in the week that made me go from loving her to hating her. Zach, well I just can't get why you would talk about working in a strip club in front of people who might later use that speech to vote against you. Just be thankful all you got for it was slop. At the nominations ceremony, Head of Household Dustin decided to nominate Jen and Kail for eviction. I was excited about Jen's nomination but I really wanted Zach to be the other one after his idiotic "strip club speech".

At the Power of Veto competition, the participating house guests had to figure out what the Big Brother themed paintings meant. A correct answer earned the house a fixed number of Big Brother Bucks while a wrong answer eliminated them. Later on house guests could spend them on tempting prizes. Dustin bought both prizes, only costing him enough points to lose the veto competition. He bought a trip for 2 to Bermuda and even more idiotically $5,000. Though Dustin really should of went for the veto. After all, with $500,000 you could take somebody to Bermuda and still have way more than $5,000 left over. Then Jameka won the veto competition only because Jen threw it knowing she was safe either way due to Jameka's promise. At the veto ceremony, the obvious happened Jameka took Jen off the chopping block and probably outraged everyone in the house where she would of otherwise had no target on her back. To make matters even worse, Head of Household Dustin put up Nick as a replacement nominee when it should of been Zach.

On eviction night, Nick was evicted by a 7:2 vote. Even though I'm happy he went over Kail, I way rather of seen Zach, Dick, or Jen evicted. The Head of Household competition looks like it will be hilarious. As of right now, Amber is my favorite house guest. I admire how passion she has for almost everything. Plus she fights with Dick.

Gordon Ramsey's Decision

Dinner Service Part 2

Dinner Service Part 1

Hell's Kitchen 3

On Monday's episode of Hell's Kitchen, the chefs had to fancy up a classic American dish. Jen's dish was fried chicken, Bonnie's dish was franks and beans, and Rock's dish was spaghetti and meatballs. Then it was up to the chefs' mothers to vote on the winning dish without knowing whose was whose. Their mothers decided that Jen won who got to eat dinner with her mother, Chef Gordon Ramsey and of course Gordon Ramsey's mother as well as $1,000 from Gordon Ramsey for Jen to go shopping for cooking supplies. At dinner service, each of the chefs got a chance to prove their leadership skills to Gordon Ramsey when they took his place leading the kitchen. Jen was first and while she was very assertive she couldn't spot that there was no crab in the spaghetti. How stupid is that? This is the final 3, Jen you can't be making beginner mistakes. Then Rock was up, and he spotted his mistake and was a pretty good leader too. Finally, it was Bonnie's turn, while she spotted her mistake she wasn't as strong of a leader. While Bonnie was leading, Jen overcooked rice and ruined risotto. At the elimination, Gordon Ramsey's decision to send Jen home was very predictable as for she made many mistakes in this episode. With that Bonnie and Rock are the Hell's Kitchen finalists! I'll be rooting for Rock to win Hell's Kitchen and the multi - million dollar restaurant at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pirate Master

I have watched episodes 9 and 10 of Pirate Master online at CBS Innertube and here's what I have to say. Starting with episode 9, the pirates celebrated making it to the final 8 with a pirate style party. It was fun to see the lighter side of the pirates, but for a strategic game there's little reason for it. After the 24 hour party, Cameron Daddo told the 2 officers (Jay and Ben) that they were stripped of their positions and there's only a captain (Azmyth) and a crew (everyone besides Azmyth) thus Jay and Ben were shockingly demoted. With that said, Azmyth competed on the Black Crew while Jay and Ben were randomly assigned to the Red Crew, opposing my beloved Azmyth for the first time in more than 5 episodes. The expedition was intense and exciting. In the end, the red crew was victorious and tragically Christa replaced Azmyth as captain. In addition she received 100% of the gold. Now I'm not saying I hate Christa, because that's far from the truth. It's just that my #1 favorite pirate is Azmyth. It only got worse from there as for Captain Christa blackmarked Kendra and Azmyth. At a heartbreaking pirate's court, Azmyth was cut adrift by a unamanous ballot. I'll probably be rooting for Jay now as I think he's the next best pirate.

In episode 10, the expedition was water-themed. Before the expedition began, each crew filled 3 buckets with water. Then they had to figure out how many pints are in a quart and put the water in the corresponding hole to reveal their next clue. The Black Crew lost a lot time with their poor measurement putting the Red Crew in the lead. The Red Crew then struggled with the waterfall clue however which made the expedition neck on neck. Ultimately, the Black Crew won by an extremely slight margin thus continuing Christa's captaincy. Captain Christa blackmarked Kendra and Nessa with Nessa finally being cut adrift by another yet unaminous ballot. Nessa would of had more gold if she wasn't spending so much time flirting with Joe Don until he was cut adrift in Episode 7.

Food Competition

Big Brother 8

What an interesting week of Big Brother. First of all despite Dick being Head of Household at least I was pleasantly surprised with his nominations of Jen and Kail. The food competition "Inpastabowl Mission" was rather pathetic because nobody went on slop (how stupid) and the competition was dull.

At the veto competition which involved the house guests balancing martini glasses on their heads Jen won after Dick was tormented. Darnet, I wanted Jen evicted so badly. The veto competition was so funny however with the non participating house guests tormenting the competitors and everybody wore an outrageously crazy costume. Mike made the stupidest move since season 3's Marcellas decided not to use the Power of Veto to save himself (which resulted in Marcellas's eviction) at the competition by tormenting Dick which in turned helped Jen win the veto. His ally Kail hoped that would give her an easier person to be up on the chopping block with. At the veto ceremony Jen obviously took herself off the chopping block. It would of been nice if she did another "Marcellas Move" and give us all a break but I wasn't expecting it. As a replacement nominee Dick put Mike on the chopping block for helping his ally Kail in the veto competition.

On eviction night, Mike was evicted by a 7:2 vote over Kail. He most certainly deserved his eviction as for anyone who makes those kinds of move simply isn't smart enough to win Big Brother's $500,000 grand prize.

At the Head of Household competition which asked questions about the 3 previously evicted house guests (Carol, Joe, and Mike) in which the first house guest to answer would decide who is out of the HOH competition (if correct) or must step down themselves (if incorrect). The last house guest standing was Dustin so he won the title of Head of Household.

Pirate Master Cancelled

If this was a normal Tuesday night, I would be currently be watching an all - new episode of Pirate Master on CBS. But that's not the case. Why? Sadly, Pirate Master the best summer show since Survivor has been canceled by CBS. This is very disappointing to me, as for I was so excited about watching the finale and seeing Azmyth win. But there is one light, the final episodes will be aired online. I haven't watched the new one yet so please don't tell me who was cut adrift online tonight. But I sure hope it was Nessa. And I really think that I will be almost as pumped up when Azmyth (hopefully) wins the $500,000 though my future (hopefully) excitement for him will be slightly soured by the fact the show won't get the 2nd season it most certainly deserves.

Hell's Kitchen 3 Theme

Hell's Kitchen 3

Well I have a lot to say about yesterday's episode of Hell's Kitchen. First of all I'm very jealous of that Hollywood high school that got to literally got to eat food made by the aspiring chefs. Oh, how I would just love a chance to have some food cooked by them for lunch at my own school. Anyways Julia won the challenge and went to Las Vegas, Nevada and unsurprisingly took Jen along with her. In Las Vegas, Julia and Jen met the winner of Hell's Kitchen 2, Heather West. The other 3 chefs (Bonnie, Rock, and Josh) were forced to clean Hell's Kitchen as a punishment. Then it was time for dinner service. Josh started too early. Being his idiotic self, he made spaghetti before anybody even ordered it. An outraged Gordon Ramsey decided to send him home early. I hated Josh this whole season and he deserved to be send home that way. Though I hated Aaron and Vinnie more but they already went home. Even with Josh gone, dinner service suffered miserably. Gordon Ramsey declared Bonnie the Best of the Worst. Bonnie nominated Rock and Julia for elimination, and sadly my favorite chef Julia was sent home. At least she'll be going to go to culinary school. Even though that my favorite won't win again like my Hell's Kitchen 2 favorite Heather, this is still one incredible season. In Hell's Kitchen 1, I was rooting for Ralph who was the runner - up so this is actually the first time I'll be rooting for my 2nd favorite which is despite of his poor performance this episode, Rock.

Pirate Master

Hooray, Azmyth is still King um I mean Captain of the Picton Castle. Let's all get ready for the finale when Azmyth will take home $500,000 and become Pirate Master. Nevertheless, this was an awesome kick - booty episode of Pirate Master. First of all the red crew was replaced by the ghost crew which consisted of all the pirates cut adrift. The pirates still in the game were on the black crew. The ghost crew lost the key in the river and thus lost their chance for revenge as they struggled to find it. The black crew prevailed and thank god. After all, if the ghost crew won it would of been a disaster. As they would most likely would black spot the triad (Azmyth, Jay, and Ben) and I would have to hope that Jay would be miraculously cut adrift. As I said before, the ghost crew lost and Azmyth's captaincy continued. He and his two officers, Jay and Ben decided to blackspot Laurel, Kendra, and Jupiter. In the end the decision was unaminous for Jupiter to be cut adrift.

Big Brother 8

At first, I was worried sick about this past week of Big Brother, but it pleasantly surprised me. Yes, I still hate Jen, but I gained a little respect for when she nominated Dick and Daniele. I hate Dick too, though I hate Jen more. I found the food competition to be rather interesting again, I couldn't resist laughing at some of the disgusting pies the house guests had to taste to earn real food for the week. Oh fine, some people may like blueberries, but I hate them. Slop pie would of been nice, but I guess it would be unfair to have one person taste something way nastier than everything else. Nonetheless, the girls and Joe (aka the Red team) went on slop for the week. While the rest of the boys (aka the Blue team) ate real food for the week.

The Power of Veto competition, a Christmas themed curling competition was fun because Christmas is my favorite holiday and I couldn't help but laugh at Dick's reaction to the plasma TV. He through the card that would entitle it to him in the snow. Come on Dick, I want a plasma so badly maybe you should of just given it to me, so I could watch these reality shows in high definition. However it was also awkward watching a Christmas themed competition in July because its in December. Now I can go on about how summer and winter are so different but you get my point. Anyways, Danielle won the competition and she obviously took herself off the chopping block. Head of Household Jen decided to replace Danielle with Joe who later got evicted by a 9:1 vote. Now come on, Dick is ridiculously annoying and is pretty much a big of a threat as Joe. So why was Kail the only person smart enough to vote to evict Dick.

With the terribly disappointing departure of Joe, it was time for another Head of Household competition that only continued the devastation when Dick won the title of HOH. Dick if you put up Jen and stop annoying me I'll be your biggest fan. If you put up Kail or don't put up Jen I'll hate you for the rest of your time in the Big Brother house.

Pepsi Finger Footy

Even though I'm a Coke drinker, I am quite addicted to a game made by Pepsi called Finger Footy. Your goal in Pepsi Finger Footy is to get as many points as possible before a barbarian squishes you and ends the game. Each Pepsi wheelbarrow you knock down is worth 50 points and it also instantly kill all barbarians. Each ball you hit into the goal net is worth 15 points. Additionally, when you hit a barbarian with maximum power you not only kill it, but also receive points depending on the type of barbarian. The weakest barbarians (brown suits) are worth 1 point. Average strength barbarians (blue suits) are worth 2 points. Finally, the strongest barbarians (red suits) are worth 3 points. Therefore, I recommend you always use maximum power.

Big Brother 8

On Thursday's episode of Big Brother, Carol was evicted by a 10:1 vote. I was so excited she was first because honestly I don't think she understood how to play the game. She said she's a fighter but she hardly actually fought. In Big Brother, it doesn't matter how many times you say you're going to fight, what matters is you fight as much as you can which Carol obviously didn't do. Just when I though nothing could disappoint me, I was proven wrong by the Head of Household Competition. Don't get me wrong, I loved the competition which was where you had to think like the other house guests as for if you don't answer a question in the majority you're out. It was definitely more interesting than the typical right/wrong trivia games played on Big Brother. Its just that I hated the fact Jen is HOH and now safe for a week. She is getting more annoying each episode. Despite that disappointment, I will say this episode was still pretty darn good.

Pirate Master

All hail the mighty Captain Azmyth who once again led his black crew to victory and $35,000. As you can see, I love Azmyth. The expedition was neck on neck though and for a few moments I actually fought the red crew would win but hooray they lost and Azmyth is still captain. At pirate's court it was a shocking 4:1 vote between Joe Don and Louie with Joe Don being cut adrift. The other blackspotted pirate was Nessa who should of by far been cut adrift as the only thing I ever see her doing on the ship is flirting. She is weak on the expeditions (though not as weak as Kendra) and does very little crew work and her flirting is driving me insane. When was the last you heard of a flirting pirate? I never have for sure. Ah well, she's due to go home next week for sure.

Big Brother 8 Theme

Big Brother 8

On Sunday's episode of Big Brother, HOH Kail decided to nominate Amber and Carol for eviction based on the fact they were the first out of the HOH competition. What is that all about? Keep the weaker competition and try to get rid of the stronger ones while you can. It is ironic to note however, that Iater became ecstatic that Carol is up for eviction first week as she doesn't want to fight to stay in the Big Brother house and that is going to get her evicted. Of course there was a food competion and it was awesome. After all what's more fun than watching the house guests turning into "butterbodies". Shocking none of them slipped. Though I was impressed with both teams despite the red team won by a huge margin of 77:34 pounds of butter. I would definitely go Big Brother slop that week as if we had a a team with me and few of my friends we would probably only be able to get 2 pounds max. Considering that the butter was in the liquid form not its cold state which is a lot heavier.

On Tuesday, the Power of Veto challenge was just a lame game of hide and seek though no it was still an interesting episode thanks to Jen being extremely annoying. Oh yeah, Danielle happened to win the golden Power of Veto in one of the easiest veto competitions in the 5 season history of the veto. Sadly, she decided not to use it. I was hoping she would of saved Amber and Kail would put Jen on the block. So now I will just hope that Carol gets evicted. I will also soon be posting some videos.

Pirate Master Theme

Pirate Master

Azmyth, my favorite pirate is captain again. I love his strength on the expeditions. The black crew won obviously as the captain and their two officers are always on the black crew. The treasure was worth $40,000. In the captain's cabin Captain Azmyth and Officers Jay and Ben decided to blackspot Joe Don, Kendra, and Joy. I totally agree with the nominations though not the voting. Joy was cut adrift by a 3:2 vote with Kendra receiving the other 2. I really wanted Joe Don to go home because I hated him as captain. Oh and by the way, I lost a lot of respect for my early favorite pirate Louie as he came up with a plan to cut adrift Azmyth. I should mention there were no votes for mutiny but I just hated the idea of getting rid of Azmyth. Above this post is the video of the catchy Pirate Master theme song. I'll also put a video up for the pirate's court as soon as this episode is uploaded.

Big Brother 8

Looks like we're off to a wonderful 8th season of Big Brother. I love the enemies twist and I think it'll get even better as time goes on. Though I think we should of been able to vote on who is America's Player. I honestly don't have any one favorite player at this moment as I hardly know most of them that well except for Dick who I absolutely hate. Though I do think the enemies should of competed in the HOH competition and not have them safe for eviction for 1 week without earning it. Being evicted 1st is far more embarrassing than being 2nd. Plus if he was nominated, Danielle would almost definitely give him a vote for eviction. Though still it was an awesome season premiere.
