Big Brother 8

Another 2 weeks of Big Brother flew by. Jessica nominated Dick and Danielle for eviction. At the veto competition which involved house guests drinking disgusting shots for croquet shots. I don't they used real blood in the Bloodtini as for it would be illegal in any country in the world and is probably also against United Nations regulations. The house guest who got the most points in a standard game of croquet. Dick won the competition with 33 points. At the veto ceremony, he took Danielle off the chopping block when he himself was in danger of being evicted. On eviction night however, it was Dustin who was evicted by a 4:2 vote. At the Head of Household competition the house guests had to remember things about the strange guests that just mysteriously entered the Big Brother house. Danielle won the competition and thus became the new Head of Household.

At the nominations ceremony, Danielle nominated Amber and Jameka for eviction. Darnet, I don't want Amber to be on the chopping block at all because she's my favorite house guest. The food competition was a college style game of beer pong which the Blue Team won by a final score of 10:9. At the veto competition which asked questions about what America though about Big Brother and the house guests. Why wasn't I told about this poll? I would love to contribute to the history of reality TV. Additionally the veto winner and the runner up would go on a trip to New York City to play the Power of 10. Now I can understand CBS wanting to promote their new game show, but isn't unfair to the other house guests to let Amber (the runner up) and Danielle (the veto winner) compete separately for a prize bigger than the prize for winning Big Brother. The winner of Big Brother receives $500,000 while you can win up to $10,000,000 by playing the Power of 10. CBS, you should of promoted the Power of 10 in a different way. Though yet again, I'll admit that I might very well watch the Power of 10 tomorrow just to see Amber and Danielle on the show. At the veto ceremony, Daniele had a change of heart and replaced her original nomination of Amber with Jen. By the way, I still hate Jen. On eviction night, Jen was evicted by a 6:0 vote. Finally, Jen gets what she deserves eviction, and to make it even sweeter for me it was unaminous. Take that, pathetic Jen!

UPDATE 7:02 PM: I'm so sorry - I got the Red and Blue Teams mixed up so it was actually the Red Team that won the beer pong food competition

Pirate Master

The last 2 online episodes of Pirate Master were very exciting. In episode 12, the pirates had to find treasure in a field of astronomical symbols that represented the 9 planets in our solar system. The treasure was once again found by the mighty Black Crew and Christa remained captain of the Picton Castle. At Pirate's court it was a tie between Laurel and Ben with Captain Christa deciding to cut Laurel adrift. I never really actually understood Laurel so I honestly don't miss her as I did with Azmyth.

In the most recent episode (episode 13), Ben threw the expedition letting the Black Crew easily win it. I can't believe this happened again. Jay was the first pirate to do this stupid move. Ironically, both times were to help Christa stay captain. Even more ironic is that I'm acutally rooting for Christa. Jay had the sole deciding vote on what pirate would get cut adrift and he obviously cut adrift Louie. I also hated Louie because he was just too honest and trusting. You can't be a pirate with either of those qualities yet alone both. Tommorow will be the season finale of Pirate Master which will air at 3:00 AM at CBS's online television service Innertube. As I already said, I'm rooting for Christa to become the Pirate Master and win the Chest of Zanzibar worth $500,000.

Hell's Kitchen 3

On the exciting 2 part season finale of Hell's Kitchen 3 which aired for the last 2 Mondays (August 6, 2007 and August 13, 2007), the final 2 chefs Bonnie Muirhead and Rock Harper faced off to impress Gordon Ramsey one last time in hopes of winning their own restaurant at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hell's Kitchen was split into half for the finale like the previous seasons. Each chef then had to create their own individual menu and redesign their half of Hell's Kitchen. Both tasks were equally important. Rock's design was far more elegant than Bonnie's design. Additionally, Bonnie decided to get rid of all the booths in her restaurants. Bonnie, what is the point of that? If it were a restaurant where people actually paid money to eat, you would be losing a lot of dough. The last time I checked, restaurants are for - profit establishment. The chefs then went to Las Vegas, Nevada to be judged by big time chefs including previous winners Micheal Wray and Heather West. Bonnie won the challenge by a 4:3 vote amongst the judges. Bonnie's dishes were too family and unoriginal. Spaghetti and cheese with a fancy name. Come on Bonnie, this is the finale you gotta think outside of the box. Though Rock's milkshake was far from unique at least his other 2 dishes were superior. Rock's team included Vinnie, Brad, and Josh while Bonnie's team included Jen, Melissa, and Julia. In the end Rock's leadership won him his own restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada when he opened his door successfully. Congratulations, Rock you most certainly deserved it though I think Julia deserved it more.

Head of Household

Big Brother 8

Wow another week of Big Brother 8 just finished. At the Head of Household competition, the house guests hung upside down while birds crapped all over their bodies to make it harder to keep their position. The last house guest to remain hanging upside down would become the Head of Household. Danielle won the hillarious competition covered in wonderfully discusting bird poo. At the nominations ceremony she nominated Kail and Jen for eviction. 3rd time in a row for Jen and Kail. Jen be lucky Big Brother isn't baseball or you would just struck out along with Kail.
At the veto competition, the house guests were challenged to either give up critical things in the game or do something very embarassing to win the power of veto. The lowest bidder for each challenge would be eliminated from the veto competition, but only the highest bidder for the challenge would have to perform the corresponding task. In the case of a tie for the highest bidder, all of the house guests who tied for the highest bid would have to perform the task. Jamkea made some more poor decisions in this veto competition when she first gave up the next 5 Head of Household competitions and then gave up $10,000 in prize money when she didn't even need the power of veto as there wasn't that much of a chance she would be a replacement nominee and get evicted this week, despite what she did in last week's veto competition. She should of put 0 for both of those 2 questions. The Head of Household is a far more important position unless you're in serious danger of being evicted, and why would you give up possible prize money if you don't have a desperate need for the veto this week. Jameka, in order to win Big Brother you have to see every other house guest evicted and win the heart of the jury. Are your so called allies really worth losing $10,000 to you. If one of them gets evicted, you're still in the game and can still convince the other house guests to keep you. Plus if they are your allies they'll most likely give you a vote to win if you make it to the final two. On the other side, your allies might actually betray you and try to get you evicted. In the end however, Jen had to be her obnoxious self and win this competition by giving up a whopping $250,000 of her prize money. While she claimed, she wasn't playing for the $500,000 grand prize I don't believe her statement at all. Knowing Jen, she would of been evicted if she didn't win the veto and thus she would of recieved $0. I think anyone would rather have $250,000 than nothing. Even if I was given the option of having $1 or nothing I would still take the $1. I firmly believe Jen is in the game for the money like every other house guest. She was most likely trying to win sympathy from the other house guests so she would be safe from future evictions. At the veto ceremony, Jen obviously took herself off the block and worse yet Dainele nominated Eric who is America's Player as a replacement nominee. I like Eric mainly becuase I can control him. I usually vote for America's Player's assignments online at CBS's offical Big Brother website because its free while texting on my cell phone would cost me 99 cents.
On eviction night, Kail was evicted by a relieving 4:3 vote against Eric. At the Head of Household Competition, house guests had to face off in a trivia duel. The questions involved the 5 previously evicted house guests (Carol, Joe, Mike, Nick, and Kail). If the first house guest to buzz in gave the correct answer they would move on and the other house guest in the duel would be eliminated from this week's competition, but if they were wrong they would themselves be eliminated saving the other dueler. If no house guest buzzed in within 10 seconds both house guests would be eliminated, unless it was down to 2 already where then obviously niether house guest would get eliminated. In the of this exciting western duel, Jessica became the new Head of Household.

Pirate Master

On Tuesday's online episode of Pirate Master, the pirates had to search the beaches of Dominca for a fake treasure. You've heard right, the pirates were unfairly cheated out of their treasure. Additionaly, Jay shockingly and stupiditly helped the opposing Black Crew so Christa could remain captain. I can't believe that he thinks Christa's captaincy is the most powerful position he can have. He could of became the captain himself. Nevertheless, this episode changed how I view him from being my favorite pirate to being my least favorite. What an idiot. I'm probably be rooting for Christa to win now as she seems to be the smartest and obviously very influential. At Pirate's Court Kendra was cut adrift in yet another unanimous ballot, this time against Louie who voluneteered to be blackmarked. While Kendra defintely deserved to be cut adrift as she was very weak in almost all of the expeidtions. I really am having a hard time of figuring out what idiotic move was dumber, Jay throwing the expedition or Louie volunteering to be blackmarked. Currently, I'm leaning towards Louie's move but I'm just not entierely sure yet.

The Simpsons Movie

Even though, for the most part I only watch reality TV. There are some other shows I like to watch on TV that are not reality, but I usually don't watch every episode of those like I do with my reality shows. For example, I do enjoy The Simpsons on FOX though I enjoy watching reality shows way more. With that said, I decided to watch The Simpsons Movie recently. It was by far the most hilarious movie ever. The plot is that Springfield was polluted by Homer Simpson and as a result the Environmental Protection Agency isolated Springfield from the rest of the world by placing a giant dome over the city. Eventually, the yellow citizens found a way to crack the dome. The EPA responded by threating to kill all residents of Springfield by dropping a nuclear bomb over the city. Then, the Simpson family decided to try to fight the American government. I won't tell you the ending, but I can most certainly tell you that this movie will make you laugh very hard.

Bowling

One of my favorite sports is bowling. So, I was recently at Playdrome which is a bowling alley in Cherry Hill, New Jersey and bowled a rather lousy 73. Well its lousy for me because I usually bowl in the 120s. Then, after I bowled I bought 2 slices of my favorite food, pizza. Then when I tried to insert money into to the vending machine to buy my Snapple Ice Tea, it didn't accept any of my bills. Then I tried to pay the $2 in coins which didn't work either so which meant the vending machine was broken. So I got a Coke instead. It might of saved me 50 cents cheaper but I wanted an ice tea not a soda. Ah well, my next game of bowling is bound to be way better.

Food Competition

Big Brother 8

What another wonderful week of Big Brother. First of all the food competition which involved putting Humpty Dumpty back together was too funny. The house guests split up into pairs of 2. They then had to solve the giant egg puzzle as quickly as possible because the 1st pair to complete the puzzle was guaranteed not to go on slop for the week. Jessica and Jameka won the competition though Stephen (one of my friends) and I are so good at puzzles we would probably easily win that competition if we were in the Big Brother house. Jessica and Jameka also had to then put 5 other house guests on slop. They chose Dick, Jen, Kail, Zach, and Nick to go slop. I'm really starting to like Jessica. I temporarily was a fan of Jameka but she did something that shocked me later in the week that made me go from loving her to hating her. Zach, well I just can't get why you would talk about working in a strip club in front of people who might later use that speech to vote against you. Just be thankful all you got for it was slop. At the nominations ceremony, Head of Household Dustin decided to nominate Jen and Kail for eviction. I was excited about Jen's nomination but I really wanted Zach to be the other one after his idiotic "strip club speech".

At the Power of Veto competition, the participating house guests had to figure out what the Big Brother themed paintings meant. A correct answer earned the house a fixed number of Big Brother Bucks while a wrong answer eliminated them. Later on house guests could spend them on tempting prizes. Dustin bought both prizes, only costing him enough points to lose the veto competition. He bought a trip for 2 to Bermuda and even more idiotically $5,000. Though Dustin really should of went for the veto. After all, with $500,000 you could take somebody to Bermuda and still have way more than $5,000 left over. Then Jameka won the veto competition only because Jen threw it knowing she was safe either way due to Jameka's promise. At the veto ceremony, the obvious happened Jameka took Jen off the chopping block and probably outraged everyone in the house where she would of otherwise had no target on her back. To make matters even worse, Head of Household Dustin put up Nick as a replacement nominee when it should of been Zach.

On eviction night, Nick was evicted by a 7:2 vote. Even though I'm happy he went over Kail, I way rather of seen Zach, Dick, or Jen evicted. The Head of Household competition looks like it will be hilarious. As of right now, Amber is my favorite house guest. I admire how passion she has for almost everything. Plus she fights with Dick.

Gordon Ramsey's Decision

Dinner Service Part 2

Dinner Service Part 1

Hell's Kitchen 3

On Monday's episode of Hell's Kitchen, the chefs had to fancy up a classic American dish. Jen's dish was fried chicken, Bonnie's dish was franks and beans, and Rock's dish was spaghetti and meatballs. Then it was up to the chefs' mothers to vote on the winning dish without knowing whose was whose. Their mothers decided that Jen won who got to eat dinner with her mother, Chef Gordon Ramsey and of course Gordon Ramsey's mother as well as $1,000 from Gordon Ramsey for Jen to go shopping for cooking supplies. At dinner service, each of the chefs got a chance to prove their leadership skills to Gordon Ramsey when they took his place leading the kitchen. Jen was first and while she was very assertive she couldn't spot that there was no crab in the spaghetti. How stupid is that? This is the final 3, Jen you can't be making beginner mistakes. Then Rock was up, and he spotted his mistake and was a pretty good leader too. Finally, it was Bonnie's turn, while she spotted her mistake she wasn't as strong of a leader. While Bonnie was leading, Jen overcooked rice and ruined risotto. At the elimination, Gordon Ramsey's decision to send Jen home was very predictable as for she made many mistakes in this episode. With that Bonnie and Rock are the Hell's Kitchen finalists! I'll be rooting for Rock to win Hell's Kitchen and the multi - million dollar restaurant at the Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Pirate Master

I have watched episodes 9 and 10 of Pirate Master online at CBS Innertube and here's what I have to say. Starting with episode 9, the pirates celebrated making it to the final 8 with a pirate style party. It was fun to see the lighter side of the pirates, but for a strategic game there's little reason for it. After the 24 hour party, Cameron Daddo told the 2 officers (Jay and Ben) that they were stripped of their positions and there's only a captain (Azmyth) and a crew (everyone besides Azmyth) thus Jay and Ben were shockingly demoted. With that said, Azmyth competed on the Black Crew while Jay and Ben were randomly assigned to the Red Crew, opposing my beloved Azmyth for the first time in more than 5 episodes. The expedition was intense and exciting. In the end, the red crew was victorious and tragically Christa replaced Azmyth as captain. In addition she received 100% of the gold. Now I'm not saying I hate Christa, because that's far from the truth. It's just that my #1 favorite pirate is Azmyth. It only got worse from there as for Captain Christa blackmarked Kendra and Azmyth. At a heartbreaking pirate's court, Azmyth was cut adrift by a unamanous ballot. I'll probably be rooting for Jay now as I think he's the next best pirate.

In episode 10, the expedition was water-themed. Before the expedition began, each crew filled 3 buckets with water. Then they had to figure out how many pints are in a quart and put the water in the corresponding hole to reveal their next clue. The Black Crew lost a lot time with their poor measurement putting the Red Crew in the lead. The Red Crew then struggled with the waterfall clue however which made the expedition neck on neck. Ultimately, the Black Crew won by an extremely slight margin thus continuing Christa's captaincy. Captain Christa blackmarked Kendra and Nessa with Nessa finally being cut adrift by another yet unaminous ballot. Nessa would of had more gold if she wasn't spending so much time flirting with Joe Don until he was cut adrift in Episode 7.

Food Competition

Big Brother 8

What an interesting week of Big Brother. First of all despite Dick being Head of Household at least I was pleasantly surprised with his nominations of Jen and Kail. The food competition "Inpastabowl Mission" was rather pathetic because nobody went on slop (how stupid) and the competition was dull.

At the veto competition which involved the house guests balancing martini glasses on their heads Jen won after Dick was tormented. Darnet, I wanted Jen evicted so badly. The veto competition was so funny however with the non participating house guests tormenting the competitors and everybody wore an outrageously crazy costume. Mike made the stupidest move since season 3's Marcellas decided not to use the Power of Veto to save himself (which resulted in Marcellas's eviction) at the competition by tormenting Dick which in turned helped Jen win the veto. His ally Kail hoped that would give her an easier person to be up on the chopping block with. At the veto ceremony Jen obviously took herself off the chopping block. It would of been nice if she did another "Marcellas Move" and give us all a break but I wasn't expecting it. As a replacement nominee Dick put Mike on the chopping block for helping his ally Kail in the veto competition.

On eviction night, Mike was evicted by a 7:2 vote over Kail. He most certainly deserved his eviction as for anyone who makes those kinds of move simply isn't smart enough to win Big Brother's $500,000 grand prize.

At the Head of Household competition which asked questions about the 3 previously evicted house guests (Carol, Joe, and Mike) in which the first house guest to answer would decide who is out of the HOH competition (if correct) or must step down themselves (if incorrect). The last house guest standing was Dustin so he won the title of Head of Household.
